Not the newest ship, but still nice

Sail Date: April 29, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The Grandeur was pretty old, but not bad considering it's 10 years old. Definitely a lot smaller than the mega-ships out there, which was nice because nothing was ever too crowded.

Pros: Service, ship itinerary

Cons: FOOD, entertainment

Oranjestad, Aruba
Really nothing downtown except for jewelery shopping. The rest of the island is really beautiful.
Don't Miss: The snorkling was amazing.

If you are looking for a beach, definitely hop in a taxi and ask to go to San Francisco beach. Beautiful beach with all the chairs lined up right at the water's edge. Free access too, all you needed to do was order a drink or food. We had lunch there and it was excellent. Highly highly recommended, about 5 miles from the port.

George Town, Grand Cayman
Lots of jewelry shopping, if that's what you are looking for. Not a whole lot else going on.
Don't Miss: Cemetery Beach is the best beach on Grand Cayman. $12 for 2 people and very secluded.
