" a great first cruise"

Sail Date: July 11, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

the ship was very nice. it was very clean and with the exception of the shower being too small in our room, the stateroom we had was very cozy.

Pros: the food was wonderful and the entertainment was great!

Cons: the size of the shower, the price of the bar drinks.

Recommends Grandeur of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
the shower in our room was very, very small. the rest of the stateroom was very nice
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
the food was excellent. i had a chance to try a few things that i had never eaten before and liked all of them.
Service and Staff
the staff on the ship was amazing. they were very helpful to me and also to my sixteen year old daughter.
there was so much to do on the ship. all the shows were very good. we especially had fun with the bingo and the trivia contests. my daughter, who is sixteen, enjoyed the teen club and meeting new friends.
Children's Programs
my daughter liked the teen club, she met alot of new friends there. she did not like the 1:00 curfew, but then again, she is sixteen. most teens don't like rules and curfews. it thought it was fine.
