Great Vacation and Great Value

Sail Date: February 01, 2009

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

Beautiful ship-large enough to be comfortable and spacious but small enough that it did not overwhelm, and getting around was easy.

Pros: Lovely ship, Attentive, Courteous and Professional staff

Recommends Grandeur of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
I am not a "clean freak", and do not subject facilities to a white glove test, but i could not help but notice the cleanliness of the ship-everywhere, all the time. Spotless.
Food and Dining
Wide selection, always available. Nicely presented-even the large buffets in the Windjammer were able to avoid the look and feel (and lower quality) of many large buffets. The dinners in the main dining room were really terrific.
Cabin / Stateroom
Small, but as expected for an interior stateroom at a very good price. Nicely set-up for maximum storage space.
Service and Staff
Staff was excellent. Every single person i came into contact with. These folks work very hard, and staying polite and positive must be a challenge sometimes. I applaud them, and whatever Royal Caribbean does to hire and retain them-other businesses should take lessons from them.
