A wanderful time

Sail Date: December 24, 2007

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

While a bit smaller than other ships we cruised on the Grandeur of the Sea is very well laied out with spacious common areas, the cabins are large enough for 2 and well appointed. The ship is clean and very well kept.
The buffet is average but the main dininig room serves above average food and the service is excellent; i just wish there was one specialty food restaurant on board like in most larger ships

Pros: good service, good food, clean ship

Cons: very crowded excursions, only one restaurant and one buffet

Recommends Grandeur of the Seas? Yes!

Progreso (Merida), Mexico
don't miss the Mayan ruins but don't waist your time to visit Merida. Waters are murky because of shallow waters
Don't Miss: Mayar Ruins
Cozumel, Mexico
you must snorkle here, the water is so blue it looks like a die was dropped into it. enormous school of fish and 80 ft visibility. avoid organized tours; they will take you to areas whith thousands of other cruisers that will make you feel like you are at your local water park, not in Island paradise
Don't Miss: the snorkling in the south tip of the island
