Small ship--mixed reviews
Grandeur of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean

Review SummaryI have never been on a cruise before so I did not know what to expect. The Grandeur of the Seas is apparently a smaller ship and it showed... there was only the one dining room and a separate cafe, and there was only one night club. Moreover, the deck area and pool were pretty small and deck chairs were at a premium. That said, the small size allowed us to get to know the other guests a bit better--you ran into the same people all the time! The fitness center was small but apparently the appropriate size for the ship as we did not encounter any problems using equipment. The food was abundant but not the top notch quality that I would have expected--especially the desserts. The dining room fare, however, was quite good and excellent selection. The staff also were wonderful--very helpful and spirited. If they weren't enjoying their jobs, they sure did a good job of pretending!

Don't Miss: There's a wine store there (noted in the cruise info) that is wonderful! (do the free tasting!)
Don't Miss: Carlos and Charlie's at the end of the strip...the staff was very friendly and the drinks were huge!
Pros: Staff was very friendly/helpful and the rooms were bigger than I expected!
Cons: The night club, a great place to dance the night away, unfortunately had a terrible DJ who played the same songs every night
