Grandeur of the Seas is a beautiful ship and pretty easy to find your way around. This was our 14th cruise, so we do know what we like. My husband has been quite ill so we just wanted to get away from the doctors, hospitals and phones -- a time to relax. With our Royal Suite, we were able to do that. I'm sure we spent more time in our Suite than any other person's on this cruise. The ports of call were okay, but as mentioned, we were pretty much tied to the ship. We ordered room service every day, and the coffee and the food was ALWAYS cold, stale and poor service. Other than the MAIN Dining Room with two seatings, there was only the Windjammer Cafe Buffet. The one and only time we tried it, it was a "traffic jam" of people.

The food quality was the worst part of this cruise. Eating wise, you only had the choice of the Main Dining Area or the Windjammer Cafe Buffet. No other restaurant choices.

The staff on our cruise was without a doubt, one of the best we have ever had the pleasure to be around. They were just outstanding!!

We chose the Royal Suite so we would have plenty of space because we knew we would be in our suite more time then most cruisers as my husband has been quite ill. The suite was fantastic with over 1,100 sq. ft. of living space which included a baby grand piano, two bathroom areas and plenty of storage places. We loved it.

This port was just a tourist trap. Not sure why we stopped.

Pros: Our beautiful Stateroom and the fantastic crew.

Cons: The weather (too humid, we went the wrong time of year) and the food quality was not good.
