A Dream Come True
Grand Princess Cruise Review to Caribbean - Southern
Ship: Grand Princess
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 7 years ago
Review SummaryAlthough the ship is in need of some updating, and the dining room menu wasn't up to the standard we have experienced on other ships, overall it was a very pleasant experience. The Cabin Steward that took care of us was excellent, meeting all of our needs and beyond. I don't understand why we have to pay for soft drinks, given the price that we pay for the cruise. $60 for a card to enjoy soft drinks seems extreme. The cost of 75 cents a minute is ridiculously high for internet access. The laundromat on our deck had 4 washers and 4 dryers; 2 washers and 1 dryer were not operational right from the beginning of the cruise and were still not working after 13 days onboard. The day to day events were fun filled and the days at sea were a great respite from the busy days in ports. The buffet was always filled with a great assortment of foods and very appetizing.

Pros: The opportunity to visit the Caribbean Islands with their beautiful aqua seas and beaches
Cons: Some tours offered weren't what we expected.
