Review summary
We enjoyed our cruise. The huge screen by the pool area was great and we enjoyed watching a couple movies there. The biggest complaint was the buffet food. Extremely bland. I’m sure it’s hard to cook for that amount of people and all their different tastes, we were just surprised by it. The whole staff was just wonderful and the ship is very clean and nice!

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
We enjoyed the main dining room food. However the buffet food was not very good. There was a huge selection, but surprisingly, I would only call a couple things I ate there good. And that’s on a 7 day cruise, eating there usually twice a day! There were 6 of us and we all felt the same way! As far as alcohol - all drinks were excellent!
Onboard Activities

Had a hot stone massage which was fabulous. However, a 15% gratuity was automatically added on to my bill which I didn’t know about until after I handed a cash 20% gratuity to my masseuse, which was annoying.
Entertainment
Did not see any entertainment.
Children's Programs
No children traveled with us.

Even though we didn’t have a window, it was a nice room. Our mattress and pillows were absolutely WONDERFUL! Extremely comfortable.
I see lots of complaints about bland food across all cruise lines. I believe there are 2 reasons for this - 1. As you mentioned, it is difficult to prepare 3 meals a day for thousands of people. 2. Food is very subjective and many people have special diets or requests. It appears the cruise lines may have just decided to not add much seasoning or sauces and let everyone add what they can have or prefer after they get to the table.
