7 Night Alaska Inside Passage With Tracy Arm Fjord (Seattle Roundtrip)
Sail Date: June 23, 2013
Ship: Golden Princess
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple

The food quality on the Golden Princess was horrible...everything was so fancied up it was either bland, overcooked, undercooked or just plain unappealing.. No ice under sliced meats, etc., in the buffet in Horizon Court. Deck areas were dirty with no waiters around to clean off high traffic tables. Employees hadn't had a day off in 6 weeks, and who could blame them for being tired and irritable; not their fault. Everywhere we went, even when disembarking, we were given coupons for jewelry sales; come to find out, the cruise lines own 98 percent of the jewelry stores in port. The scenery was absolutely fantastic. The excursions were way overpriced with not much to offer if you weren't into zip lines or river floats. This is my husband's second cruise on Princess; the one in 1995 he said was fabulous. I have cruised on Carnival once, and it was much better than the Princess. We will never cruise Princess lines again. Looking forward to either Disney or Celebrity cruises in the future...
