7 Night Alaska Inside Passage (Seattle Roundtrip)
Sail Date: August 11, 2012
Ship: Golden Princess
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 4 years ago
Needs updating and a comprehensive cleaning. Staff did not seem overly concerned with providing assistance, unless a purchase was being made. One glass door missing creating wind tunnel (should have been 2 doors only had 1).

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
chocolate layer cake was great\, otherwise food was just average - nothing spectacular. Recommend anytime dining - just call for reservation as needed otherwise use the Horizon Cafe

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Good activities - dancing\, art\, wine tasting\, ping pong. However\, nightly entertainment was disappointing\, cruiser frequently walked out.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
inconsistent\, unless one was making a purchase

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
needs updating and comprehensive cleaning\, door missing\, odors.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
smallest shower we have ever had on a cruise ship. Air conditioning was broken\, room too warm most of the time.

Pros: quick access to dock

Cons: overrating activities\, excursions

Recommends Golden Princess? No.
