A truly luxurious vacation

Sail Date: July 01, 2012

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was clean and beautiful. They had a soup and sandwich bar in the center of the ship that was a great addition. The crew and workers were delightful and very helpful.

Pros: Actually there wasn't anything we didn't like. Was a wonderful trip.

Recommends Golden Princess? Yes!

Ship Quality
We have been on the Star Princess\, and the lay out was the same. It is a nice ship...certainly big\, though fairly easy to get around from one place to another.
Food and Dining
We did not eat more than a couple of meals in the buffet. It was too crowded for us\, and people would bump into us. That is not the ship's fault. After the first couple of meals we ate exclusively in the dining room and food and service was wonderful.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a mini-suite and was great for getting together with friends. Very comfortable. Room was in good condition. It was kept clean the entire week. Always had clean towels\, ice\, and anything we needed.
Service and Staff
They must train their staff well because most workers were not only professional\, but friendly and gave excellent service. And they were from all over the world. We loved talking with them also.
