My impression of the actual ship was that it looked fine. The problem wasn't the ship it was everything else.

Food and Dining

Food was either over done or under done most of the time. there was a lot of food, but not a lot of good food. more isn't always better!

Service and Staff

staff was rude and i find it funny how these words like "above and beyond" type service is thrown around. it did not apply here. it was the worst service i have experienced on a cruise ship. and it was multiple crew members...i'd say about 60-70% of the workers we encountered.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

the room was good. nothing special nor was our cabin steward doing anything, but the basics daily. his job was unnecessary most days. any other cruise, they are exceptional...not this one.

Pros: the room was nice

Cons: the service was horrible and food was subpar.

Recommends Golden Princess? No.
