Was an amazing experience

We were on the Golden Princess. We sailed the Inside Passage to Alaska. What an experience. The ship was very clean. Had lots of dining choices. You could have an sit down dinner or have hamburgers and pizza. The choice was yours. Had movies under the stars. That was nice when it wasn't cold! The Skywalker lounge was a nice relaxing place. Not a lot of people took advantage of this. All in all it was a great experience.

Pros: the wild life, mountains and the scenery

Cons: not enough time in Ketechkan

Recommends Golden Princess? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship was very clean. That was the first thing I noticed when I boarded the ship.
Food and Dining
A lot to choose from. A sit down dinner to hamburgers and pizza. The choice was yours. The buffet was always open and the food was always fresh.
Cabin / Stateroom
The size was perfect for 2 people. The only thing that was wrong was the mattess needed to be changed. It was very well used. Did not report it..
Service and Staff
One employee from the Skywalker lounge went out of his way to let my husband know that he found his hat and sunglasses in the lounge and could pick it up after 4 p.m. We really appreciated that.
Entertainment
The shows were nice. Limited on seating. Needed to get there early. Maybe an afternoon show would be nice.
Victoria, British Columbia
Saw the Castle. That was nice. Again, felt like we were rushed to see everything. Not enough time to be able to see everything and enjoy Victoria
Ketchikan, Alaska
The lumber jack show was fun. We also did the Totem Pole park. Did not like the park that much. Felt like a lot of time was wasted there. It was very imformative
Don't Miss: lumber jack show
Juneau, Alaska
Loved Juneau. Took the whale watching tour. Was not disappointed in the least. Saw so many whales. Went to the Salmon bake after and the food was great.
Don't Miss: Whale watching and Salmon bake
Skagway, Alaska
We did the motor coach and train ride into the Yukon. The scenery was amazing. The bus driver (Sara) was very imformative.
Don't Miss: Motor coach and train ride to the Yukon
