We went on the Golden Princess in November from Port Everglades. The embarkation went very smoothly we ended up being first in line to board the ship. After we arrived at the port, we were told that we were upgraded to an upper deck. This was a nice surprise, because our travel agent told us we would be getting a refund of $400. To our surprise, we got both, an upgrade and the $400 refund. We found the food in the Horizon Court to be excellent and service was tops. We ate there often and even went after the shows at night for a late night snack. Seats were always available and the view was great. The managers kept the help clearing tables efficiently and everything running smoothly. Our statement was large and we had plenty of storage space. We found the entertainment to be very good and the comedian was excellent. We have sailed on RCI four times, but this ship had them beat on all fronts. The crew was very courteous and always willing to help when you asked.Would definitely go on Princess again and am looking forward to booking a New England cruise this fall.DottieP from FL
