Embarkation was adequate, as we have been through this process many times and understand the delays at times. We have traveled on all the Princess ships in the past and on the Regal and Crown Princess twice.Princess was our favoite line until this cruise. We have been cruisers since the early days and always felt the dining experience was the highlight of cruising, but alas, that is slowly going to the "scrap yards" like so many of the old gracious ships that we so enjoyed. Now, it is mass market, hotel-style all inclusive accommodations. Freestyle, prepaid tips, must offer more then mediocrity, as those two areas were the ultimate in cruising. There are cruise lines that still adhere to the dignity of the passengers, but Princess has chosen mass marketing.Ship and crew were great, food poor at best, as it is impossible to be efficient when chaos is the norm.Entertainment was never in the picture due to the messed-up dining schedule. Lastly, when one pays their fare for an all inclusive cruise, that's what they should receive and not be asked to pay extra to eat elsewhere. The entire atmosphere was one of pay for this and that and buy this and that, etc.We are happy that we got a great bargain, as it made the disappointments more bearable...
