Alaska Cruise

Sail Date: August 29, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was standard in many respects, but tastefully decorated and seemed to cater to the older crowd which was drawn to this cruise.

Pros: Breath-taking views and wonderful shore excursions.

Cons: Food wasn't as good as other cruises I've taken

Recommends Golden Princess? No.

Don't Miss: Whitepass railroad

We saw a few whales, but not that many. Also, boats from other shore excursions seemed to get a lot closer to the whales than ours.

Don't Miss: Seaplane to the misty fjords is amazing!
