7 Night Alaska Inside Passage (Seattle Roundtrip)
Sail Date: August 04, 2007
Ship: Golden Princess
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Family (young children)

The Golden Princess is a rare find. The ship is beautiful and is in wonderful condition. The pools are second to none. It is a large ship with an intimate feel to it. I still cannot figure out where the 2600 passengers were. It felt like a ship with 1000 or less. A truely wonderful cruise ship.

Food and Dining

What can I say, you have to experience it to understand what dining on a cruise ship is like. Wonderful!

Children's Programs

My kids, ages 12 and 9, loved the programs. They were kept busy doing enjoyable projects and activities. Recommend traveling with kids.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It is a large ship, it took about 3 days to get to know where most everything was. Exploring the ship was fun, so much to see. It is in wonderful shape, it is a rare find.

Cabin / Stateroom

We like inside staterooms as we only sleep and bathe in them.

The jeep tour is a blast. Offroading in the Yukon was just too much fun. The scenery is fabulous.

The offroad cart and jet boat tour is top notch. My family loved it. We saw black bears, bald eagles, whales and harbor seals on this tour.

Pros: Small feel on a large ship

Cons: Can't think of any cons, other than smoking is allowed in the casino.
