Review SummaryWe recently sailed on the Golden Princess to the Western European capitals. It was fantastic. Our room steward was "Johnny on the Spot" to meet all of our needs. The purser's office was very attentive to answer questions and meet our needs immediately when we needed a plumber for a leak in our bathroom. All the waiters, waitresses, bar personnel and other wait staff were friendly and accommodating. We were pleased to have several laundry facilities aboard. The choices of food was fabulous. No person could go hungry.
We scheduled all of our tours through Princess prior to sailing. They were confirmed and carried out perfectly. Each tour guide was very knowledgeable and concerned with our needs. We were never late returning to the boat, nor were we ever kept waiting. No tour was anything less than adveredtised and usually better than expected.
We made all of our initial arrangements through BJ's Wholesale Club and again were highly pleased. We flew out of Baltimore, changed planes in Philadelphia and then on to Gatwick. Once there, a Princess representative met us and directed us to our transfer bus. We never had to touch our baggage from that point. After lunch and upon arrival at our stateroom, our baggage was waiting for us.
Departure was just as organized. All transitions were very smooth. We would highly recommend this criuse to our friends and family. We, too, would consider taking it again.
