Main dining is very accommodating...just tell them on the first day of specific menu needs and they will do everything they an to prepare special meals for you; if needed.

Go to the fourth deck outside for a quiet place.

OVERHAUL THE SHIP so passengers dont get sick. another traveler we spoke to basically had to have her room fumigated and everything taken out because they were so sick within the cabin. there was some sort of mold issue or something

Cruise on it from Puerto Rico, because the port calls are better. The ship is getting refitted soon, so go then.

We bought the "key" program which included "voom" which kept us well connected to the world. Other perks are priority seating at the main shows like the higher rated guest enjoy, priority debarkation which wasn't really needed unless you needed off the ship in the first 15 minutes after the gangway opened. It included a free lunch at Chops Grill, a private breasfast on debarkation day with anytime departure, separate luggage area off ship and escort off ship avoiding the crowds and all the way to a special customs line. That alone worth the money.

The pizza is free and it’s very favorable try it. While showering be mindful of the showerhead 🚿 aiming at the door . Don’t want to step out and into water on the floor outside.

The ship may not be the newest or the greatest or the biggest, but it’s still an awesome ship and goes to some wonderful ports.

For coffee early in the morning(4-6 am). Go to Promenade.

We enjoyed being on the back side of the boat. East to get on and off and we were on floor 2. It was fantastic.

If you like friendly bar staff or cold beer, don't ever sail this ship.

IT's perfect for family and friends.

Look for deals on beverage packages before getting onboard because then drink selection without a drink was not very diverse nor good

One piece of advice I would give to someone sailing on Freedom of the Seas would be to enjoy the experience and take advantage of the various onboard activities that are offered. There is so much to do, so pick out new things to do for the experience or things you like to do as I believe it makes for a more positive cruising experience!

Plan on walking the steps up and down to the floors you want unless they change how elevators operate. Also be very aware of what the excursions will actually entail. One excursion called for Jepp transportation, we got wood seatson the back of a modified small toyota. Very uncomfortable.

The front row of the balconies are the best seats, as the shelf in front of you is good to place your drinks. The seats have cup holders in the armrests but the size and location makes them not very functional.

to make sure and check what night time activities are going on so that you can plan ahead.

Must check out all venues of the ship so you don't feel like you've missed anything- there's a lot to see but definitely dedicate some time to do so!

Don't bring too many clothes. 2 formal nights and the rest is casual. Swimsuits definitely.
