This is our first cruise in 27 yeas of marriage. The overall expereince was great. Aside from the things I've mentioned for improvement we would definitely do it again and we plan to. What stood out most was the service from the staff. Excellent!

The main dining service was impeccable. Our wait staff, Giovanni and Joseph were awesome in creating a very enjoyable evening night after night! However the food overall was not as appetizing as on paper. Some items were great, many items we good, most items were okay.
Onboard Activities

I most enjoyed the sports tournaments (volleyball and mini golf in particular); the evening shows were good, the music, especially the "Funk It Up" band was great. The Marriage Game was absolutely funny and a wonderful experience; the activities director did an excellent job hosting! My least favorite games were trivia (not as exciting or engaging as I hoped) and the mystery group game was not as fun as hoped. Our group thought it was too dificult so that took the fun out of it and the directions were not clear.

For an older ship I thought it was still well kept. I was impressed with the cleaning from the staff, especially after hours. I particularly was glad to see that the hot tub was drained and cleaned each evening. One thing I did not like is the fact that you can bring drinks into the pool and hot tub area. It made those areas appear nasty, messy and unsafe. The thought the bars areas did not have a pleasant smell and could have been more neat and clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Comfort was great! The balcony was very roomy. My only complaint about the balcony was the glass was very dirty and never cleaned so the view through the glass was not good at all. The hot water and shower pressure were great.
