Review summary

This was an awesome cruise. Loved it. The people are so friendly on then islands.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy no waiting and we got there just before 12:30. Porter took out bags and we went through security with minis wait. Checked in with no wait as was boarding the ship. We ate the Windjammer and waited until 1:30 and our room was ready. Even two of our bags were waiting for us.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Loved the Dining room and food. Windjammer food was ok. But don’t expect much from a Buffett as it feeds masses. I didn’t care much for Giovannis but Sabor was excellent. I know they will be adding new restaurants which is needed for a ship of its size. Johnny Rockets was good as well but they should just make it a la carte as I just wanted onion rings and a shake. They charge you 11.99 for a meal and you can’t just share the fries or onion rings.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

4 out of 5
I only saw one show and I liked the broadway musicals they had on the bigger ships and was hoping for that.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
I didn’t like the limited hours but it could be that there are less kids the time of year I went.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean. Loved the wall sized window.

Ship tip

Try and plan your dining and excursions. I booked early excursions and when we got back to ship around 12 or 1 the ship was quite empty so you could enjoy the pool area without trying to find a place to sit like on those seas days.

Ports of call

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
Loved the history and the Curaçao liqueur is stale home must.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Get some Mofongo while in Puerto Rico.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

5 out of 5
Great history. Beaches around kind of touch because of the coral but a must see.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
Loved it and this was second time I’ve been but got to see the plane go over the beach which was cool.

Oranjestad, Aruba

5 out of 5
Loved hearing about the history.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
That was horrible. Long lines and waiting. Luckily it stopped raining. Also we paid a porter to take our bags and got out sooner. Customs lines are so long.

Love the mofongo!! Old San Juan is beautiful. We really enjoyed freedom of the seas too. We had a grand suite and it was worth it. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.
