Review summary

RC has a nice product. Would be nice if they spent more time on us cruisers who have not spent 30+ cruises with them. Make your customers want to come back, not just by dangling things once you hit 30+ cruises. Most of those folks (and we met some) don't use the extras that others would.

Ran out of strawberry margarita mix on Thursday....... Really? Didn't get a single drink without going to the bar.

3 out of 5
went to a couple of shows, nothing too good though

Swimming Pools

Serenity pool was amazing! RC did a great job of making sure no kids were present in the area!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff did an excellent job! Housekeeping was fantastic! So was the main dining room staff (even though the food was less than stellar)

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
VERY nice ship, clean, well laid out, easy to get around on.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Nice inside cabin on the front of the ship! Great location, easy to get around.

Ship tip

Get up early to get a chair. The chair hogs are in full force and RC staff did nothing to keep it from happening.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

3 out of 5
Horrible traffic!

Basseterre, St. Kitts

4 out of 5
Private excursion, nice island.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

4 out of 5
Still rebuilding after disasters, but overall nice

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
For being a part of the US, seemed quite different.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

4 out of 5
Private area, locals pretty pushy to sell things.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Were off ship and in a rental car by 0730!

I never felt like I was treated any differently, and like JJulie, unless I'm cruising with a group, I have no brand loyalty either... it's all about the itinerary, price point and port I'll be departing from.

I've looked at the different levels, and I honestly don't think any of them are that worthwhile. I cruise based on itinerary and price point, not loyalty membership because I've yet to see a cruiseline where it's really worth it.

I never felt like we were treated differently on any of our cruises. The more you travel the more perks you get, whether it be cruise lines, hotel, airplanes, car rentals etc. After spending tens of thousands of dollars with RCI over the years, I would certainly never apologize for having a few extras thrown my way for loyalty.
