worst cruise ever

Sail Date: November 01, 2014

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

worst food ever\, was food poisoned 3 out of the 7 days. staff overworked\, looked as if they could not wait to get off the ship as well. raw ingredients of food was excellent\, most food\, overcooked\, or poorly (to no) taste and seasoning. Unless of course you like french fries and burgers\, they did that all day long. ZERO value for your money. NEGATIVE value actually

Pros: getting off the ship

Cons: food

Recommends Freedom of the Seas? No.

Ship Quality
to much to say\, top worst: jacuzzi temp not even near hot enough. no private areas for adults only\, no glass enclosure over solarium pool area\, no monitoring of keeping children out of adult areas\, no co-ed sauna\, steam room for couples to spend time together\, the \"mega\" ship feeling... not for everyone.
Food and Dining
horrible\, unless you want to pay extra for the fine dining restaurants. there the food is good\, but mega expensive\, paid over 300USD for a dinner for 4 and 1 bottle of average wine.
Cabin / Stateroom
worst bed ever\, slept on floor (really)\, could not change room\, every room was full (holiday week cruise)\, full of family with monster spoiled kids
Service and Staff
to overworked\, underpaid to care anymore\, don't blame them. \"they work for tips\" baloney! so\, when then the high price for a massage if none of it goes to the staff??? \"mega ship\"... \"mega\" corporate greed in price gouging
Entertainment
only good\, for extra charge\, or not worth it to wait in long lines with monster children
