GREAT CRUISE

Sail Date: April 17, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

SHIP WAS GREAT. TOURS WERE LOUSY

Pros: EVERYTHING ABOARD SHIP

Cons: EXCURSIONS WERE POORLY DESCRIBED & NOT AS EXPECTED & AND DID NOT FULFILL EXPECTATIONS. MANY AGREED WITH THESE SENTIMENTS AND THE TOUR OPERATORS WERE A BIG LET DOWN FOR YOUR GOOD IMAGE.

Recommends Freedom of the Seas? Yes!

HORSE AND CARRIAGE TOUR WAS LATE & THERE WAS NO SEATING OR WATER AVAILABLE. UN EXPECTED BUS RIDE WAS UNCOMFORTABLE AND LONGER THAN EXPECTED. EVERYONE WAS ANNOYED WITH THIS TOUR
George Town, Grand Cayman
TOUR GUIDE WAS NOT AT THE DOCK TO COLLECT OUR HEADPHONES AND TOUR PLAYER. THE TOUR DESCRIPTION SAID THE MUSEUM WAS CLOSED FOR REPAIRS FROM 2006 STORM. IT WAS OPEN AND ONE OF THE MOST INTERESTING PARTS OF THE WALKING TOUR. IT NEEDS AN UPDATE.
Cozumel, Mexico
THE TOUR OF THE ACTUAL MYAN HISTORIC SITE WAS FAR TOO SHORT AND GOOD TIME WAS WASTED ON THE BEACH STOP. THERE WAS A LOT OF WALKING IN RUSHED CONDITIONS ON A HOT DAY. AN 8 HOUR TOUR TO SPEND 45 MINUTES AT THE SITE WAS NOT WHAT PEOPLE EXPECTED.
