A Truely Wonderful Cruise

Sail Date: August 15, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

This is our 9th cruise with RCCL and this ship is spectacular. It is beautiful, full of great things to do, many which are included in the cost of the cruise, and a great staff that will do anything to make sure your cruise is memorable. The ship is spotless, the pool area is huge, and the rooms are great-both the bathroom and the sleep areas. Each time we went to an area of the ship-we were impressed with the design, decor, and layout.

Pros: The amount of different things to do and service

Cons: when the cruise ended

Recommends Freedom of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
At times, the choices for meals were tough due to the ship trying to please all
ethnic backgrounds; however, a chicken, beef, or fish selection was always available.
Entertainment was ok-comedian on ship was not that great-as well as the magic show. The ice show was spectacular, and the one performance by the dancers was great. The pool entertainment was less than desirable-not a lot going on-other than music
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a room with a balcony and it was great. The layout worked well, the closet space was ample for clothes and suitcases, the dresser and storage area was sufficient, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The room was spotless from day 1 until the end-and the decor was very nice.
Service and Staff
EVERYONE was friendly, willing to help, answer, or get anything that was needed, and very professional
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
This is the icing on the cake for the cruise-the island is beautiful-the people are friendly, and the island is spotless.
Don't Miss: Beach Rendevous-the best of the best
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Absolutely a must see!! I wish they could have left me there for the whole week. The island is spotless, the chairs are available, the food was great and the drinks were plentiful
Don't Miss: don't miss the snorkling
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Went to the beach for the day-did not bother with the shopping-do not like the shopping district of St. Thomas-find it dirty and not very friendly
Don't Miss: Meghan's Bay
