Sail Date: July 25, 2010

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

the room steward service was excellent. i will not sail on it again because i thought it was too big, being a senior it was too much walking. all the ships need a golf cart or some transportation from the ship and down the pier, it was too far for me to walk so i never got to go ashore. this is a service that i would gladly pay extra for the service. the shows were also excellent. i would not recommend for seniors.

Pros: they had ample activities to keep the young adults busy. and my grandsons liked the free room service. the ordered a pizza each evening.

Cons: the holland america ships had almost the same menu on the buffet that the served in the dining roomwhereas the freedom had mostly the same menue every night thus their food selection was boring. i did not consider their food great or even average.
