Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

wonderfully run ship. constantly being cleaned. great service for my daughter with severe food allergies. Good entertainment. could not get to everything we wanted to do.

Pros: Royal Caribbean's private beach in Labadee Haiti

Cons: 7 mile beach in Grand Caymen. no protection from the sun unless you paid!

Recommends Freedom of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
great service for my daughter with severe food allergies. manny foods with a lot of unusual sauces. would have prefered more plain options
Children's Programs
programming was good but disorganized the first few days. Very unusual for an RC program. too much upselling to try to get the kids to stay after 10pm when they charge a baby sitting fee. this pressure was not appreciated
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
by far the largest balcony room I've ever been in and I've been on 10 cruises all over the country. full king size bed plus full size pull out couch for our kids. were tons of shelves we did not even use.
Service and Staff
George Town, Grand Cayman
watch out for no shade at 7 mile beach. no place to secure valuables at beach. Jeep tour not that great. very little wildlife seen. mostly road driving.
Don't Miss: snorkeling
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Dunns River Falls climb is NOT suitable for short children. Guides just kept pushing them and our kids were very scared. Beautiful to see but definately a teen and adult only climb
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
by far our best port. beautiful, lots of places for shade, tons of activities
Don't Miss: dragon coaster and cove beach
Cozumel, Mexico
state park great set up, lockers to secure valuables so you can relax and have fun
Don't Miss: Dolphin encounter at state park was perfectly run and organized.
