What a wonderful cruise

Sail Date: June 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship is very large and very impressive. We traveled on the Monarch last year and decided to try Royal's larger ship for this year, once again Royal Caribbean did not disappoint. Love this ship.

Pros: Ship, ports of call , shows and a entertainment

Cons: Ocho Rios

Recommends Freedom of the Seas? Yes!

Food and Dining
Food in the dinning room is good. Did not try Portifinos or Chops that was extra but I hear it is worth the money.
Ship Quality
The Royal promenade was beautiful and loved how they kept it lit in the day and lowered the lights at night. Staff was constantly cleaning it is immaculate!
Cabin / Stateroom
We got a balcony room this year and both agree that is the only way to cruise! Oh and the best part is that you have shower doors instead of a curtain in the bathroom, no fighting with that to keep it off your backside while showering!
Loved all the shows and the Ice skating show was great!! Make sure to get your tickets for they are only offered one time.
Service and Staff
We bought the Coke card and some of the staff were not as friendly about getting you a coke as they did getting drinks for other cruisers, I am guessing it was because of the tip.
