Absolute gorgeous ship!

Sail Date: April 01, 2010

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Inside

We enjoyed everything about the ship. My recommendation would be if travelling with children to get a room on the same side as the sports court which is also the same side as the dining areas. The cruise director was fantastic, very funny guy. Staff were all great and friendly. Food fabulous. We only ate in the dining room 3 nights. We like to have more variety of food to choose from in the Wind Jammer. Embarking and disembarking was a breeze. We used express departure and still had too much time to spare with an 11:40 am flight.

Pros: Everything, Hospitality, Food, Shows

Cons: Coming home

Recommends Freedom of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Very clean, always. Our room steward was fantastic. Elevators busy when shows got out but used the stairs to work off all the food we ate.
Food and Dining
Five stars for the dining room. Six for the windjammer.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had an inside room on 8th floor with 2 teen children. It worked out fine.
Great how the TV has the channel now for monitoring your charges.
Service and Staff
Pool bar staff could be a little more organized. With 4 behind the bar, they should stay in one area. They dont notice who was there first.
Outstanding show. Even my teens enjoyed. Ice show was great.
