Freedom of the Seas Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Review SummaryIf you have never cruised before, you've got to try the Freedom class ships. They are amazing. Freedom feels like a floating city! Everything was kept spotless and in excellent condition. The staff was friendly and fast. Our cabin attendant made us feel welcome from the first "Hello". The wait staff did all they could to please us at meals and the Winjammer was a great, quick alternative to the dining room. The promenade restaurants were also fun and easy for a quick bite or late night snack (free)! We ate at Chops one night and enjoyed the food and service. The casino was fabulous - loose slots and lots of variety.
The ports and excursions were interesting. We loved Labadee (stay on the ship side and find a shady spot). Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica was a great experience and well worth the price. The Mayan Ruins with Beach Break was also great!
This was our third cruise and we can't wait to try the new Oasis of the Seas!
Pros: Everything was excellent - food, service, cleanliness of cabin and public spaces, friendliness of staff. But the best and most impressive was the entertainment. Cruise director Richard Spacey was incredible! He is so talented and creative . Every show was a quality production!
Cons: Can't think of a thing
