Great ship, but bring your own food

Sail Date: June 01, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

This was a family cruise for us, taking 7 grown children and spouses, and 3 grandchildren, and a great time was had by all. BUT if the cruise was for just my wife and me, we would definitely go for a ship with better food and sacrifice the entertainment for the kids.

Pros: Geat ship for a family cruise. Plenty to do for all ages.

Cons: The food was horrible. It started offf very good for the first 2 nights, then deteriorated to very poor. Chops steakhouse was very good. Service was very good, but it was obvious that it was embarassing to the head waiter to be serving such lousy food.

Recommends Freedom of the Seas? Yes!
