Review SummarySeveral of our friends at church are annual cruisers. After much encouragement and prodding from them, we decided to take the plunge and go on a cruise instead of our usual trek to the beach on the east coast. It ended up that 9 couples went in our group with half of us being first timers. The "frequent cruisers" helped so much in preparing us, yet there was no way to describe our feelings the first time we layed eyes on the Freedom sitting in the port of Miami! She was awesome. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Even our frequent cruisers in our group said that the Freedom was the best ship they have seen yet.. We all had a wonderful time and will share these memories for a lifetime. We are now planning our second cruise for next year, taking our daugher and son-in-law for their first cruise. We are not cruise experts, but our excitement is contagious!!!
Ports of Call
Pros: Labadee Island was so restful and beautiful. Jordan our head waiter was excellent
Cons: seeing the day change in the elevator after Thursday, wasn't fun anymore-just a reminder our cruise was almost overr
