Fantastic Vacation

Sail Date: August 01, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The Freedom of the Seas is a wonderful ship! We booked the cruise because we are Diamond Class members and my 80+ year old mother wanted to experience the newest ship in the RCCL family. We also had my 15 and 19 year old daughters in a ajoining cabin - both our rooms had balconies (a must in the carribean).

The gym is awesome (BOXING RING in the GYM) and the rock climbing, surfing, boogy boarding, ice shows, pee wee golfing are all free and lots of fun for active people who want to be active but there is lots of space to lounge if that is your preference.

Pros: The Ship. The Ports. The Whole Enchilada!!

Cons: It is very big and that can be daunting for some folks
