Nice Cruise

Sail Date: April 06, 2008

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The Freedom of the Seas was fresh, clean and everything the travel channel said it would be. The sheer size of the ship was impressive and really stood out amongst the others we passed while at sea.

Pros: Freedom of the Seas

Cons: Crowds

Recommends Freedom of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Living Large is the operative word here. Easy to locate all ammenities on the ship. Decore was a perfect 10.
Food and Dining
Food was again amongst the best. The service was impeccable down to the table cloths being pressed.
Cabin / Stateroom
Excellent! Spacious and accommodating are key summaries here. Location for us was just one floor below where our stateroom was.
Service and Staff
Everyone on the Freedom of the Seas made us feel like Royalty. There was not a task too small or too large for anyone to help us with. From the Stateroom attendant to the Captain, everyone was amongst the best.
Entertainment
Variety of entertainment was superb. Times fit right in with and complimented other features and functions of the cruise.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
The beaches here were some if the best I've ever seen. The towns themselves could have been a little more accommodating to the cruise passengers but overall it was a decent stop.
Don't Miss: St. Philipe Beach.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Awful port. Very 3rd world. No need to see this place again.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
The private snorkeling trip we took was just about as good as it gets. Crystal clear tropical water and an abundance of marine life really made the day for us in St. Thomas.
Don't Miss: Yachting and Snorkeling tour.
