Review summary

Overall this was a great cruise on a great ship with a fantastic crew. But I will avoid Royal Caribbean in the future unless or until they are able to be fully staffed. Royal Caribbean really failed in this regard. Also, the Internet was very unreliable. I think the Voom package is worthless and would not purchase it again.

We had the majority of meals in the main dining room and were never disappointed. We only tried the buffet once because they advertised "tex-mex" day. Other than some chips and guacamole, there were no "tex-mex" items available at all.

The crew were all awesome, despite being short staffed. Making the crew work so hard because of a staffing shortage is a disgraceful failure on the part of Royal Caribbean.

I am on the Explorer at present. I completely agree with this post. The service for the most part has been pretty bad. Every night our meal has been two hours long in the MDR, sometimes cold food, wrong orders, and missing all of the early shows. However the poor service is all circumstantial due to the staff shortage and the shortage of some foods. I haven't complained to RC because of how hard the staff is trying, but I guess you just have to try to understand.

You may have to avoid cruising all together for awhile. Most cruise lines are understaffed. Appreciate your feedback.
