It was just a great cruise. Loved the ports and loved the at sea days. Entertainment: shows, comedians, bands, all performers were first class. The ice skating show outstanding. Don’t miss any of what the cruise offers. The food: I am a very good cook and when you consider how many are being served, they do a fantastic job. We are already looking in to another Royal Caribbean cruise.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Food was great. Did “my time” dining and had same table and staff. Rizal, our waiter, and Diana, assistant, were great. Very attentive, cheerful, and always got our orders right. All restaurant staff were awesome. Did not do specialty restaurants. They are great, but too much food for us. The Windjammer was awesome, too. Lots to choose from. Ate at Johnny Rockets. Very good. I think Alexander waited on us there. He was very friendly, helpful and the service was perfect. Dining areas were very clean and food well presented.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Lots to do. We were with my husbands brother and his wife. We are all over 73. So we attended shows, sat out on deck a lot to read, relax and visit. We liked walking around the Promenade looking in shops and relaxing in one of the bars with a glass of wine. All Ship Access Tour is great, we recommend it. We were never bored.
Entertainment

We went to as many of the stage shows as possible. They were great. So much talent. Bands and musicians fantastic. DJ’s on the Promenade made it great fun. Sound, music, costumes, stage settings were wonderful.

Ship Quality

Loved the ship. I know she is going in for updating soon, but she is so classy. Well cared for and very clean. I hope not too much is changed.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin 7250, was very nice. Clean and in good repair. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of room and storage areas. I liked that there was excellent lighting and the AC worked well. Our cabin attendant, Alex, was great. He was very personable and not intrusive. Kept our cabin clean and neat. Thanks Alex!
Ship tip
Do as much as you can. Go to as many on ship activities and shows you can. Set up excursions for each port and do it before you sail. Just relax and enjoy.
Very colorful and interesting island. We did a bus tour which was informative. Bus and guide was very nice. After bus tour we walked into town on our own. There is a shipping mall area not far from ship. The fort is interesting and fun. Lots of shopping and places to enjoy food and drink. The Queen Emma (?) Bridge is worth seeing. We got to be on it when opened to let a boat pass. There is a ferry if you don’t want to wait on the bridge.
All the ports were very clean and well cared for. They were open and not over crowded. We never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. There was plenty of security. The venders were welcoming and not pushy.
This was our favorite island. Very quaint and colorful. We did a snorkeling excursion on an old Chinese junk. Lots of fun. Captain and crew were young, but very capable, informative and entertaining. Water there is just beautiful.
We did a bus tour here. Tours are well organized. Actually all excursions were easy to hook up with the guides after leaving the ship. Went to picturesque places. Learned a lot of the islands history. Bus and guide very nice.
Very nice. Clean and colorful. Did a kayak excursion. There are lots of beaches and water sports available. This is RC’s private beach. Just lots to do and they serve a lunch so you don’t need to return to the ship to eat.
Due to a delay getting into port (something that could not be helped) the timing at port was thrown off. There were delays getting off, but it was handled well. We were glad we arranged for the Valet Luggage Transfer and did not have luggage to take off ship. There were plenty of staff to direct us to the appropriate bus for airport.
Glad you enjoyed it. We were on her sister ship on the same itinerary in November and loved it. I have seen some recent reviews where people complained about the “horrible” food and said there was nothing to do on sea days. I’m not sure what some are looking for to not find something to eat or do on a cruise.
