Review summary

This was my first and last time on Royal Caribbean. I shouldn't have to pay to iron my clothes. The alcohol was weak on the boat. I could not fully relax, the way I usually do during my vacations. There wasn't a lot of activities for adults, mostly for children. I didn't like how Blaz spoke to Elford during dinner while Elford was trying to accommodate my family.

The food was horrible!!!! I mostly ate burgers and hot dogs throughout the entire cruise. During dinner, I feel like they gave the same food every time. Ruined Thanksgiving for my family and I

I did not do any onboard activities but my family did and they had fun.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

As a Haitian American, I do not like the way Haiti is being portrayed. There was no Haitian food or drinks. This isn't Jamaica, there shouldn't be red strips or reggae. Voodoo isn't the main thing of our culture, therefore having voodoo music as a welcoming isn't cool at all. Giving people a real experience of Haiti. Hire Haitian chefs that can provide authentic Haitian food and drinks like prestige, Haitian sodas, barbancourt, desserts, and etc. The Haitian band and staffers were amazing and welcoming.

They need a better way of getting people off the boat. We waited for hours to get off the boat

Sorry you had a bad experience.

Allowing guests to use irons in rooms would be a accident waiting to happen. They were very wise to ban this.

Royal doesn't allow irons or steamers for safety reasons, so you have to pay for these services. Remember that most cruisers are American, so on Labadee, they serve the food that most people will eat. They don't claim its Haitian food, just a bbq lunch.
