Review summary

Worst cruise of our life. We were verbally threatened by a male passenger at the compulsory muster station meeting on the first afternoon before we even left Sydney. Both of my daughters & I were left traumatised & returned to our room too scared to leave whilst my husband went to see security. But security were too busy having a disembarkation meeting to care. Despite many witnesses & my photos of the male passenger it took them over 24hrs to leave a message on our room phone to say they had spoken to him. Totally ruined our cruise, my daughters are still having nightmares, so much for zero tolerance. We will never travel with Royal Caribbean again. We much prefer Princess cruises for many reasons.

Should have notified police before ship left port. They do take it seriously,unfortunately can not control rude cruisers..they need to learn the hard way.I feel for your family as we just cruised rescently on Explorer..and my wife had an incudent where a lone cruiser abused a staff member cooking toast un front if my daughter. My wife deposited my daughter with me..went and apologized to the poor staff member, then found the lovely gentleman and gave it to him while he ate by himself..until he apologized. Dont let stupid cruisers ruin your experience. Keep Cruising 😁

Sorry to read about your nightmare of s cruise! Let’s hope your next one helps you forget about this one. It sounds like lately there are some idiots ruining cruises left right and centre!

Its definitely not the cruise line's fault, however I understand your frustration in the way it was handled. Unfortunately there is usually an idiot..or 23 on a cruise that can ruin it for others.

Worse happened on Carnival, Sydney also. Maybe it's not the cruise lines...
