Sailed Nov. 12 out of NJ. Service was top notch, ship is in excellent condition for going on 10 years, and very clean. Cabin was well stocked with large fluffy towels all the time. A must is the Piano Man in the Schooner Lounge, he was exceptional and made the cruise, in fact we skipped all shows except Ice show, to see this man play, who was also funny...played to a packed lounge, nightly. Casino was hitting like mad, unusal for cruises, I hit a nice jackpot on day two, which was more then my cruise ticket! It was packed nightly. I do wish there were better ports, then Labadee Haiti, nothing to do there and not a great port. St Thomas has top shopping. Domincan Public port, nothing, better off staying on ship, cost $20 to and from for taxi to town shops, and there was nothing but all high priced junk..don't get off unless you must...a disappointment...as most others agreed I spoke too after... San Juan is always fun..with a lot to do and outlets and casinos. Food was fantastic..soups to die for, and meals were excellent. The service in the dining room can't be beat, and our waiters were so nice, we felt bad leaving them on last night. Lunch in dining room, great, with a exeptional salad bar that they toss for you, and you pick salad stuff, also had cheeses and alike...everything was so fresh, never saw this on cruises...great idea. Dizzy's Lounge on 14 floor is a great place to have a drink (but you don't have to order anything) and sit and look down on the pool and goings on, and what a view. All in all, a fantastic time on the Explorer. Highly Recommend.

Pros: Service

Cons: Getting Off Ship, time, etc
