Review SummaryThis was our third cruise...the second through RC. I have to say that this one was extremely memorable. There was a group of 900 (about 1/3 of the passengers of the cruise) from a foreign country that were the RUDEST AND MOST OBNOXIOUS individuals you would ever want to meet...let alone spend 10 days with. They pushed and shoved...they touched the food on the buffet line (of course without sanitizing hands), and standing on others' feet was a daily occurrence. "Excuse me" was not in their vocabulary. We were appalled to see one man from the group literally push two senior citizens (not from the group) out of the way in order to get onto a crowded elevator. Passengers were constantly complaining to customer relations regarding members of the group.
We were glad to have the option for casual dining, but the food selections at dinner were strange several nights. Pyush was our dinner waiter in the Windjammer and he was very attentive (thanks Pyush!). Entertainment was OK, but nothing to write home about. Our room attendant was excellent (thanks Maria).
Due to weather, St. Thomas port was cancelled...but wish they had changed order of ports and cancelled Labadee instead. We've been to Labadee once, and that was enough.
Love St. Maarten. Would have liked to stay there for two days instead of going to SanJuan.
Crown and Anchor "welcome back" party was great!
This was our first time with a suite and loved the quick check-in for passengers with suites.
Pros: Casual dining option, thoroughness of housekeeping staff
