My Travel, agent provided all the services we could ask for. The Explorer was indescribable and the service, food, and shows were likewise to say the least. Everything was perfect until we proceeded to make our departure on September 29 to the airport in Miami. It was a four hour wait. We were told it was the rain and later were told it was immigration. People missed their flights and were very unhappy. It was very trying for everyone. I can understand that immigration can be a problem. It rains in Miami often so aren't they prepared for rain? Well...maybe but whatever the problem RC should have at least given us a comfortable place to rest and a beverage while we waited the four hours. No consideration was made for those confined to wheelchairs or those passengers with small children. Finally, during the last 1/2 hour they made an announcememt that we could go to two locations on the ship to watch CNN while we waited. No one attempted to leave their spot in our area. Our cruise was very enjoyable. Our departure was a nightmare. Unfortunetly the nightmare is the most recent experience with RC. My next cruise won't be booked on RC.
