Eurodam Cruise Review to Europe - Northern Europe
Review SummaryThe ship was excellent. Great food. We didn't really participate in many of the activities/entertainment because we are younger (a couple\, 25 and 30 years old) and felt they were definitely geared toward an older audience. This is fine and was understandable\, considering much of the ship was retired and 65+ years old. We took the cruise to see the different countries\, not to hang out in a lounge\, so we were really happy with everything. Our room was small but definitely enough for us. Very clean. The staff was great. Our only complaint is that we didn't know about something in the fine print--that we would be charged 10.50 per day\, per person (not stateroom) for a \"mandatory tip.\" To me\, it isn't a tip if it's mandatory. They waited until the last day to tell us this. We didn't fight it because it was in the fine print we signed\, but we felt a bit mislead. Had we known that we would have an additional bill of 200+ U.S. dollars\, we would have cut 200 off of our spending elsewhere during the vacation.
