Don't Go On This Cruise

The beds were arranged in our stateroom so that only one person could walk through the room at a time. The sink was old and dark and could not be cleaned. The "entertainment" was very poor. In cooking classes, no electricity or samples were available so the presenter just read the recipe...sometimes incorrectly. Food was good in the dinning rooms but the lines were very long in the Lido. They ran out or didn't have some selections. It was hard to get a seat in the Lido. On days in port, very little took place on the ship except crew emergency drills or ship painting. One bright spot was the commentary on the deck while we cruised to a new port. The on-board wifi was encouraged but in 7 minutes online, it was so slow that I could not read or send one email. Wifi at some ports was free and faster. This is my 5th cruise and overwhelmingly the worst. Holland America is the parent company for Carnival and is trying to make up the money lost on Carnival with sub-par service on Holland. There were just too few services on this ship for so many travelers.
