Baltic Adventure!

Sail Date: July 14, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

This ship compared well with other similar cruises of equal or longer duration that we have taken on other lines. The decor was peaceful and not the garish entertainment type of architecture sometimes seen on cruise ships. Generally, efficiently run in most aspects.

Pros: The ports were very interesting and were better than anticipated.

Cons: things were a bit dull on the ship. More senior crowd than anticipated. But everyone was nice.

Recommends Eurodam? Yes!

Ship Quality
Decor was peaceful and very clean in all aspects of the ship at large. Public area around the main pool was cramped because of the \"cabana\" arrangement which on our cruise was used rarely.
Food and Dining
Food was generally good with a few overdone and underdone exceptions. the pizza needs help! Eliminating \"Rick's\" special with tuna would be a start. At times there seemed to be mass confusion over seating. Went to the Pinnecle Dining twice. the first time\, was outstanding; the second on the last night was less than worth the $25 dollar supplemental cost. don't have this open on the last night if things are not available and if the ship is shortstaffed.
Cabin / Stateroom
After asking for our cabin to be cleaned better on arrival\, things improved. Perhaps the short turnover time in port led to less than tidy cabin conditions at the outset.
the room was truly the smallest of any that we have booked on other lines for the same price.
Service and Staff
Somewhat inconsistent and it would be good if the cultural barrier to smiling could be broken!
Entertainment
found the big theatre disappointing...but did enjoy the smaller venues\, guitar player strings group etc.
