Relaxation at its finest!

Sail Date: December 17, 2011

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The Eurodam is a great ship to travel on. Well laid out and easy to get around. Crew to guest ratio is good. Wait time for room service or dining room seating was short if any at all.

Pros: Relaxing in the thermal suite!

Cons: Too many cords on the desk in the cabin.

Recommends Eurodam? Yes!

Service and Staff
Great as always! Patrice in the spa had a great attitude as did Gemma. Our room stewards were always smiling and friendly -- we already miss Danang and Agus!!
Food and Dining
The Rembrandt dining room was great. Food quality was consistent and enjoyable. We also dined at the three specialty restaurants. Highly recommend all three. Pinnacle Grill is worth the $25pp surcharge. Best steak we have had in a long time! Tamarand Cholcolate is awesome! Canenletos staff and cotton candy is worth every minute!
Ship Quality
Public rooms were clean, well kept, easy to access.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a spa stateroom with a verandah. Room was well kept and clean. HAL has added some new amenities for the spa level rooms. Some I would keep were the teak bath mat and the ipod docking station. Could live without the water feature on the desk. The 220 volt power was out for the first three days and we had to call the room steward who intern called the engineers to flip the breaker. We finally unplugged the water feature and had no more problems at the desk. The 220 volt in the bathroom would not power the hairdryer provided. There was just a whirring sound in the plug area above the sink.
Entertainment
Special entertainers were great! The HAL dancers and singers were performing the same shows we had seen on the Niew Amsterdam last December. We decided to not go back to these shows and did not hear any positive comments about the shows.
