As we embarked on our 7th cruise in last 14 years, Holland is our favorite line. This was a bit larger than Westerdam, but equally appointed. The service has always been exquisite, this time some things were not to par. The dinning attendants were wonderful, but seating assignments were incorrect as half of my booking was placed at another table. It was corrected the following day but to different tables, and servers. Each day many tables were empty or half empty as alternate dining tempted guests to change tables. I loved getting to know the servers and they know our tastes. Food was wonderful, exotic choices, flavorful standards plenty to eat.
Stateroom attendants were overworked or understaffed. Did not meet our steward for 36 hours after boarding. Even then never brought the items we requested as ice, towels, etc. Room service was 90 min late whenever you ordered, this was mentioned by many other guests. Never had this problem on other cruises.

Pros: attention and care in dinning areas

Cons: fair service in cabins

Recommends Eurodam? Yes!
