Review summary

Fabulous. Just the right amount of time away. Never cruised during a elementary/Jr.-High School break, and while not our traveling groups ideal... I wouldn't avoid a cruise for that reason in the future.

Embarkation

Easy peasy šŸ˜Š

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Windjammer buffet had so many options (unlike one of their competitors). The main dining room showed variation with dinner selection which was wonderful. Chops Grille was exquisite. I tried a main course that I typically wouldn't have and loved it! We had purchased the 3 night dining package which is well worth it. Need a nightcap before bed - get a Haute & Steamy from Chops Grille šŸ˜‰

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was bingo - which even the teenagers were playing with their parents. The Centrum offered so many things throughout the day it was fun to watch or participate. There was karaoke in the Starlight Lounge and various trivia sessions in the Schooner bar, Starlight lounge, and Boleros bar! Of course the headliner shows were great too!!

Entertainment

See above.

Children's Programs

Not traveling with children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Whenever we go on a cruise, there is always someone that stands out. This time the exception was there were 3 such people. We take thank you cards and leave one for each such person along with an extra gratuity. Of course everyone was very accommodating!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Yes and yes! There seemed to be something being cleaned every minute of the day. Felt assured that all was being done concerning the horrid COVID.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
With the rescheduling of our April 2020 cruise so many times, we were blessed to get a Junior Suite. I don't think I could ever go back to just a room with a window and a shower stall - LOL!

Ship tip

The water is still a bit cold in April (the pool or ocean).

Ports of call

Nicely done Royal Caribbean! I dread when people are all bunched up waiting to leave.
