Review summary

This cruise was ok. I’m not sure if I would book another with this cruise line. There were limited kids activities and some of the shows were boring. Overall I would give a 5 out of 10.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy and quick

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was great. Drinks were overpriced and not good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
No activities on the ship for unknown reasons. It’s not kid friendly at all. There was nothing for my children to do. This is more of an adult cruise. They were bored and some points.

Entertainment

3 out of 5

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
Kids club was useless. All they did was sit around. There were no games or activities.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was awesome. Everyone would speak and made sure you were ok.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Everything is old and needs to be updated. Especially the rooms and the furniture.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Size wasn’t that bad. We managed. The room we had always really hot we had to call maintenance. I was sweating it was so hot.

Ship tip

Don’t expect much.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

Disembarkation

The line to get to the exit was ridiculous and uncoordinated. That was the worst part. Trying to leave.

This is one of the older smaller ships. If I was cruising with kids I would definitely go on one of the new large ships as they so much to to on them. You or your kids would never be bored.

I think this is a fake review. No cruises listed, no pictures and no posts other than review. If it is not fake, RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH

Yes we do research for our grandchildren

Did they go to Adventure Ocean at all?

Do your research before booking. Smaller ships will never have the activities of the larger ships. Larger ships cost more per person, but if you want to be entertained, then go bigger!

When that ship was designed and built, very few kids cruised. If you want a floating amusement for kids, you need a bigger boat.

Because you were on the wrong ship. RC has the best ships for kids, entertainment and families but you chose an old dud of a ship. You need Voyager, freedom, oasis or Quantum class ships for all the good stuff. Use a travel agent next time who can guide you
