Again do not book during hurricane season it framed 90% of the time we were there and we cannot enjoy half of what we pay to enjoy. I do feel cheated out of a vacation as I was not able to lay on a beach or do any excursions
Embarkation
5 out of 5
If you check in online and get there early the experience is super fast and painless
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
All of the places were super clean and they have you used purell before you go in the buffets. A lot of different choices. They do shut everything down pretty early though
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There was a lot to do on the boat so you shouldn't be bored. Pools weren't really ever that crowded. They offered dance classes spas fitness center and a lot more.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The performances were cool whenever we danced on the deck it seem like instructed dance instead of just being able to dance like you want.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Every single worker on the ship with nothing but kind helpful and generous
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The boat is very clean but it is very outdated as well
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The size was average but that really didn't matter as we didn't spend a whole lot of time in our suite. It was very clean and having the balcony was also pretty cool
Ship tip
Do not book during hurricane season. We ended up having to skip an entire island and it was raining 90% of our trip
Nassau is an awesome place to visit it was raining the whole time we were there though making it hard to walk around and sightsee. We also booked a snorkeling excursion which ended up being canceled due to the weather
We visited the support directly after a hurricane hit. I felt terrible being in this place as a tourist as the residence around me were going through a rough time. The beaches were pretty much closed the only part that was open had sharp rocks and a half sunken boat. Again we booked a snorkeling excursion and it was canceled due to weather
Disembarking is not as smooth as embarking was. It was everybody all at once with all her luggage waiting in a long line and going through one part about across to the other side of the boat
TNTGreen - I thought I was responding to OP hcgib. Neither of you are foolish. I book early for certain cabins. I pay lots more than folks who book in the last two months when prices drop, but I like my special cabin. Maybe I am the only foolish one here.
No, not at all. I was alluding to others being foolish for paying more. I would have acted just as you did. We have not had a bad hurricane season for eleven years. This year just happened to be a bad year for cruising. No ill intent.
Reason why my preferred cruising month is May. June 1st through the end of November is hurricane season with peak season running middle of August through October.
