Review summary

I KNOW YOU CAN'T HELP IT BUT THE WEATHER WAS TERRIBLE AND IT RUINED THE CRUISE. THE CAPTAIN NEVER ADDRESSED THE PASSENGERS OVER THE INTERCOM, THERE WERE NO POSITION UPDATES ON THE ROOM TV. THE STAFF WAS AS ALWAYS WAS PLEASANT AND HELPFUL.

I was on the same cruise and the captain did talk to the passengers, on Tuesday morning when he says the conditions where not safe to tender and he hopes the weather will be better on Thursday so we can stop at cocoa cay. the TV has a channel dedicated every minute of the cruise that shows the boats position, direction, wind speed and various other items. you just wanted something to complain about and you have no clue what your talking about

I was on this cruise. Ended up seasick on Monday the 19th (super high winds) took motion sickness pills and carried on. Didn't go to Coco Cay Tuesday but was informed we would try again Thursday. We were notified by Captain and the cruise director every step of the way via the intercom.

This review is ridiculous. It cannot even be used as a review. You're complaining about weather, but you even admit that it couldnt be helped by the cruise line. Perhaps you need to really review the ship and the experiences within. I.e. Food, drink, room, entertainment ect ect.

In most cases, especially in situations like yours, "IF" any announcements were going to be made, they would be made by the first officer. On our trans-Atlantic crossing this past April, the Captain never made any announcements or position reports, the 1st Officer did at 12 Noon everyday. Except for the one time when we had a medical evacuation by helicopter, that was the only time we even heard from the Captain over the PA system. You agree that you understand the weather was a factor in your cruise, so why only 3 stars when you go on to say " THE STAFF WAS AS ALWAYS WAS PLEASANT AND HELPFUL." ?
